Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is looking for a Portfolio CTO to serve as the senior technical leader and trusted advisor for a defined portfolio of customers. In this remote role, you will drive the technology vision across 8-10 customers, guiding strategic decisions and designing modern cloud-native solutions.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the senior technical leader and trusted advisor for a defined portfolio of customers.
- Guide and influence strategic technology decisions to support client innovation and growth.
- Engage directly with customers to understand their business goals and design modern cloud-native solutions.
- Collaborate across sales, delivery, and strategy teams to ensure consistent, high-quality customer experiences.
- Own the P&L for the assigned portfolio, overseeing delivery performance and resource allocation.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies, especially in the AWS ecosystem, and bring insights into customer engagements.
- Contribute to internal strategic planning and help shape the company’s broader technical vision.
What We're Looking For
- 20+ years of experience across technology and consulting services, with deep exposure to client-facing leadership roles.
- Expertise in cloud-native technologies, with a strong preference for AWS-centric architectures.
- Proven ability to drive innovation, shape technical roadmaps, and lead strategic accounts.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication, able to convey complex technical ideas to business audiences and engineers alike.
- Demonstrated success managing revenue, profit margins, and resource performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience leading engineering teams and scaling cloud services in high-growth environments.
