Porch Group, Inc. is looking for a Policy System Implementation Specialist to help drive our implementation of the BriteCore platform. In this role, you will review insurance manuals, translate them into platform requirements and configuration, and tackle complex problem-solving and debugging challenges.
What You'll Do
- Fully comprehend insurance materials, including policy and rating manuals, underwriting guidelines, and other pertinent information.
- Analyze insurance materials to identify risks from missing, unclear, or contradictory information.
- Configure insurance products within the BriteCore platform, including rates, forms, and permissions.
- Research, troubleshoot, and solve problems.
- Work collaboratively across teams.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering, computer science, MIS, or business with a technical or information systems focus.
- 4+ years of total experience, with at least 2 years supporting Property & Casualty (P&C) product configuration.
- P&C insurance industry experience.
- Ability to interpret insurance manuals and operational information, or a demonstrated ability to learn new domains quickly.
- Light programming skills in Python or another scripting language.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Proven experience working with US-based business teams.
- Excellent written and communication skills in both English and Hindi.
- Ability to work within core US business hours / EST time zone expectations.

Work Mode
