About the Role
The position is responsible for managing policy creation, implementation, and grant administration to ensure alignment with state and federal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development and revision of departmental policies and procedures
- Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations
- Administer grant applications, reporting, and post-award requirements
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external funding agencies
- Maintain accurate records of policy and grant activities
- Support audits and evaluations related to policy and funding
- Organize and distribute policy documents across divisions
- Track deadlines for grant submissions and compliance reports
- Facilitate training sessions on new policies and grant guidelines
- Analyze policy impact and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with legal and program staff on regulatory interpretation
- Ensure consistency in policy language and formatting
- Develop summaries and briefs for leadership review
- Manage document control systems for official policies
- Coordinate interdepartmental reviews of proposed policy changes
- Assist in the evaluation of grant program effectiveness
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of funding opportunities
- Support data collection and performance measurement for grants
- Prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Respond to inquiries related to policy and grant processes
