Constructor is looking for a Platform Engineer to join our Platform Solutions team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize custom platform services that ensure our systems are resilient, secure, and performant. You'll collaborate with engineers across the organization to deliver infrastructure solutions that support platform growth.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain foundational systems that empower all product teams by providing highly reliable and scalable platform services.
- Focus on infrastructure-level solutions, enabling seamless functionality while abstracting away complexities for developers.
- Serve as the backbone for key capabilities such as authentication, rate limiting, and always-on availability.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, Java, Python, or C#.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., ECS, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, SQS).
- Familiarity with cloud-native system design best practices.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or Pulumi.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, ECS).
- Knowledge of networking concepts, security, and distributed systems.
- Understanding of web concepts and security, including OAuth, SAML, CORS, Cookies, and HTTP security.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Go.
- Experience with CloudFormation.
