Responsibilities
- Monitor and adjust production plans based on supply and demand fluctuations
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure material availability
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical and market data
- Identify bottlenecks in the planning cycle and recommend improvements
- Generate regular reports on planning performance and inventory status
- Support master production scheduling with timely and accurate inputs
- Track key planning metrics and deliver insights to stakeholders
- Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams during product transitions
- Ensure planning systems reflect current bill of materials and routing data
- Assist in supply chain risk assessment and mitigation planning
- Maintain data integrity across ERP and planning tools
- Participate in cycle count audits and inventory reconciliation
- Respond to ad hoc planning inquiries from operations and management
- Contribute to process documentation and system improvement initiatives
- Support new product introduction planning activities
