About the Role
The Area Vice President of Health Systems will lead regional efforts to expand and strengthen partnerships with health systems, driving operational excellence and market growth through strategic collaboration and executive engagement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee regional operations for health system partnerships
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow market share
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with health systems
- Collaborate with clinical teams to align care delivery models
- Drive adoption of organizational initiatives across partner networks
- Monitor financial performance and operational metrics
- Identify new partnership opportunities within the region
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement system-wide programs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations
- Represent the organization at industry events and forums
- Translate national strategy into localized action plans
- Manage regional budget and resource allocation
- Evaluate performance of health system collaborations
- Support integration of technology and clinical workflows
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Coordinate with marketing and sales leadership on outreach
- Advocate for patient-centered care models
- Report progress to senior executives and stakeholders
- Address operational challenges across partner sites
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all initiatives
- Ensure alignment with organizational mission and values
- Lead change management during transitions and expansions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare policy trends
- Support quality improvement and patient outcome goals
- Facilitate communication between headquarters and local teams
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree in public health or business administration
- Ten or more years in executive healthcare roles
- Direct experience with integrated delivery networks
- Prior success in national or regional expansion efforts
- Established network within the healthcare provider community
