Sezzle is seeking a Pipeline Controller to be responsible for the safe and efficient remote operation of the WhiteWater pipeline systems, ensuring compliance with DOT and state regulations. This position operates on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

What You'll Do

Remotely start and stop pumps and compressors, and operate valves.
Monitor and control the movement of product through multiple lines and facilities.
Monitor storage field activity and analyze changing conditions and alarms.
Make necessary adjustments and determine accurate times for pipeline events like deliveries and batch movements.
Quickly detect abnormal operations and use critical judgment to respond.
Monitor pipeline integrity and coordinate all maintenance activities with field personnel.
Communicate with field personnel, scheduling teams, customers, and suppliers to maximize efficiency, safety, quality, and customer service.

What We're Looking For

On-the-job experience operating as a pipeline controller or board operator in the oil and gas or chemical industry.
2-3 years of chemical, oil, or gas industry experience.
Basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office products.
Successfully complete all pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal and employment background checks and a DOT drug screen.
A team player who interacts well with co-workers, customers, and the public.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to sit and/or stand at the console for a 12-hour shift or longer, with occasional breaks.
Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with procedures and processes for WhiteWater assets.
Ability to evacuate the control center in an emergency and immediately report to the designated alternate control center.

Nice to Have

A minimum of 60 college credit hours combined with oil and gas field operations or plant experience.
A minimum of 60 college credit hours combined with relevant oil and gas or air traffic controller experience in the military.
