Physician - Virtual Care Specialist (Part-time)

Greetings from our Healthcare Innovation Team. We're seeking a Physician to join our Digital Urgent Care division.

About the Role:
You will deliver virtual healthcare services to our insurance members across designated states, providing compassionate, evidence-based care through audio, video, and written communication platforms.
*This is a part-time employed role, 20 hours per week.*
Available Shifts:
Tuesday & Sunday 8am - 6pm EST
OR
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday 6pm - 11pm EST
OR
Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 7am - 12pm EST
You will report to the Virtual Urgent Care Medical Director.

We maintain a flexible work culture ensuring team connectivity regardless of work type or location.
This is a remote/work-from-home position. Required residence states include Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, or Washington D.C. Pay Transparency:
Base compensation: $135 - $145 per hour. Employee benefits include CME, PTO, 401k.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality virtual patient care
- Collaborate with Care Team on complex patient scenarios
- Follow up on diagnostics and patient communications
- Utilize remote examination technologies
- Participate in collaborative care model
- Attend required patient care meetings
- Provide operational and product improvement feedback
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Additional assigned duties
Requirements:
- MD/DO from accredited program
- Board Certification (ER/FM/IM)
- 3+ years outpatient urgent care/emergency experience
- 2+ years virtual care/telemedicine experience
- Licensed in Tennessee and/or Missouri
- Compact license from IMLCC or eligible
Bonus Qualifications:
- Willingness to obtain additional state licensures
- Spanish fluency
