Primark is hiring an In-House Studio Still Life Photographer to deliver high-quality product imagery for fashion, home, beauty, e-commerce, and marketing content. You will execute defined creative visions with technical expertise in a fast-paced retail studio environment.
What You'll Do
- Deliver photography across e-commerce, campaigns, product launches, social, and digital marketing.
- Execute imagery under Art Direction, translating creative briefs and shot lists.
- Produce clean, accurate, consistent imagery for fashion, beauty, home, and lifestyle products.
- Capture motion content such as videos, GIFs, and social-first assets.
- Collaborate with stylists, retouchers, and studio teams to ensure strong composition and smooth handovers.
- Adhere to workflows, timelines, naming conventions, and participate in image reviews.
- Set up, manage, and maintain all studio equipment, including lighting and cameras.
- Uphold high standards of studio organization, equipment care, and visual consistency.
- Process, name, upload, and archive all images correctly.
- Support production planning, scheduling, and assist with ad-hoc off-site photography.
- Refine style guides and asset rules to improve quality and efficiency.
- Share knowledge and set priorities aligned with business objectives.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in still life or studio photography.
- A strong portfolio across fashion, beauty, home, product, and e-commerce.
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced fashion or retail studio environments.
- Exceptional technical expertise in lighting, composition, colour accuracy, texture, and detail.
- High proficiency in using Capture One and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong creative and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational capability with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Deep knowledge of industry-standard studio workflows and best practices.
Nice to Have
- Experience with motion/video capture for GIFs, stop motion, or social content.
- Understanding of still and motion integration for digital platforms.
- A detail-oriented, proactive, solution-focused, and fashion-forward mindset.
