Paramount is looking for a Freelance Photographer/Editor to join the team at CBS 13 and independent station 31 in West Sacramento. In this role, you will be a creative storyteller and team player providing visual texture that reinforces the talent's storytelling, with a passion for the news business.
What You'll Do
- Provide visual texture reinforcing talent's storytelling
- Travel at a moment's notice
- Work any shift
- Handle occasional travel
What We're Looking For
- More than three years of television news experience
- Sound journalistic judgment
- Passion for visual storytelling
- Excellent lighting skills
- Deadline-oriented work ethic
- Proficiency as a non-linear editor
- Experience operating microwave, bonded-cellular packs and/or satellite trucks
- Valid driver’s License and excellent driving record
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to work any shift
