Mass General Brigham, through Newton-Wellesley Hospital, is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will be responsible for the critical task of collecting and processing blood specimens from a diverse patient population, ensuring accurate and timely support for laboratory testing.
What You'll Do
- Collect and process blood specimens from patients for laboratory testing.
- Service inpatients, outpatients, and nursing home residents, both on and off the hospital campus.
- Perform sample collection on all patient populations.
- Adapt to changing assignments based on the needs of the hospital's customers.
What We're Looking For
- A high school education.
- Completion of a phlebotomy course or previous phlebotomy experience.
- Computer skills and customer service skills.
- A valid driver's license.
- Must meet a 25 wpm typing requirement.
Nice to Have
- Experience in phlebotomy with patients of all age groups.
- The ability to work independently without direct supervision.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $17.36 - $24.79 per hour.
- A $3,000 sign-on bonus.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at 2014 Washington Street.
