Community Health Network is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring medications and supplies are provided to customers accurately and on time, in full compliance with standard procedures, Joint Commission, State Department of Health, and other regulatory standards. What You'll Do
- Accurately and efficiently select medications for dispensing.
- Compound sterile products using aseptic technique.
- Deliver medications and supplies to the proper location in a timely fashion.
- Maintain a contemporary professional knowledge base.
- Participate in the evaluation, development, and implementation of process improvement.
- Perform basic compounding and calculations.
- Communicate with patients, their families, and hospital staff in a positive and professional manner.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Indiana Pharmacy Technician License or Indiana Pharmacy Intern License.
- National Certification required within 2 years of hire unless you are a Pharmacy Intern.
Nice to Have
- Previous pharmaceutical or related healthcare experience.
