The Cigna Group is hiring a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join the VFP Pharmacy Group. In this remote role, you will be the primary point of contact for fertility patients, handling inbound calls to coordinate medication plans, process prescriptions, and ensure a seamless patient experience.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with patients and physicians to coordinate fertility plans and medications.
- Own the patient experience by resolving customer issues and ensuring 100% follow-up.
- Accurately obtain and enter patient information, including shipping, insurance, and payment details.
- Escalate complex claims to the appropriate team for further action.
- Accurately perform data entry tasks and enter prescriptions into the system.
- Use training and problem-solving skills to accurately process prescription claims.
- Juggle multiple tasks without sacrificing attention to detail.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as needed.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of relevant experience as a pharmacy technician.
- Valid National Pharmacy Technician certification.
- Valid Arizona or Massachusetts pharmacy technician license.
- Microsoft Office proficiency and data entry skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in both PC and phone-related tasks.
- Works effectively and fosters teamwork; demonstrates ownership of projects and responsibility for building strong working relationships.
- Results oriented; demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workload and meet deadlines.
Nice to Have
- 1+ year(s) of call center experience.
