As the Pharmacy Manager at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in delivering our purpose and modeling our values with genuine care for our patients. You are accountable for the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy, leading your team to provide essential community healthcare.
What You'll Do
- Manage, oversee, and operate all aspects of pharmacy operations.
- Lead and direct Pharmacy Staff, comprised of both staff Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
- Ensure patient safety, professional pharmacy practice, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
- Manage customer service, personnel, inventory, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow.
- Keep customers and patients healthy through the adoption and management of patient care programs.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Motivate, inspire, and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments and fostering growth.
- Identify critical business opportunities and implement meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance.
- Successfully lead your team to achieve specified goals.
- Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting.

What We're Looking For
- Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
- Listed on the state pharmacy license as the ‘pharmacist in charge’.
- Submission of required information to your state PMP administrator for PMP access (where applicable).
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
Team & Environment
You will lead and direct the Pharmacy Staff, which is comprised of both staff Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
