CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Intern in their third year of pharmacy school. In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment that delivers exceptional patient care. Your focus will be on supporting patient safety, regulatory compliance, and helping patients adopt and manage care programs.
What You'll Do
- Work as part of the pharmacy team under direct pharmacist supervision to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment.
- Deliver exceptional patient care and model company values.
- Support patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance.
- Manage customer service, inventory, and workflow (excluding final prescription verification).
- Help patients adopt and manage patient care programs to keep them healthy.

What We're Looking For
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.
- Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, scan, and bag items.
- Finger dexterity for picking, pinching, typing, or working primarily with fingers.
- Ability to reach overhead and stretch to grasp items.
- Ability to extend hands and arms in multiple directions to place, move, or lift items.
- Precision control to adjust machines to exact positions.
- Ability to stoop considerably using lower extremities and back muscles to move items.
- Close visual acuity for transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts.
- Ability to orally communicate information to colleagues and customers.
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs; exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs frequently.
- Complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager.
- Complete all required training and obtain required licensure within state guidelines.
Nice to Have
- Immunization eligibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Once state regulations are met, strive to provide patient immunizations as this is an essential pharmacist function.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $18.50 - $42.00 per hour.
