M&T Bank is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to join our team. In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to help ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment that delivers exceptional care to each patient. - Work in areas including Patient Safety, Pharmacy Professional Practice, Regulatory Requirements, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Inventory Management, and Workflow Management (excluding final prescription verification).
- Complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager.
What We're Looking For
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years relevant work experience.
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.
- Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical capabilities including: ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods; lift, scan, and bag items; finger dexterity; reaching overhead; extending arms; precision control; stooping; visual acuity; oral communication.
- Ability for occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs; exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs frequently.
Nice to Have
- Immunization eligibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Once state regulations are met, striving to provide patient immunizations as this is an essential pharmacist function.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $20.10 - $23.10 per hour.
