M&T Bank is looking for a B Shift Warehouse Associate to join our operations team. This entry-level role focuses on learning fundamental warehouse functions and supporting essential duties across multiple departments. You will train on various equipment and work under safety guidelines to help maintain an efficient and safe work environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform essential job functions as instructed.
- Maintain general housekeeping and keep a clean, sanitary work environment.
- Cross-train in other functions and departments as needed.
- Work under safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Take daily direction from leadership and understand how your role impacts other departments.
- Understand and work towards daily goals and objectives.
- Learn to transition to a Warehouse Associate II role and advance within the company.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to write and read simple correspondence.
- Ability to learn to operate an RF Scanner.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand, and walk repeatedly.
- Ability to apply common sense and carry out instructions.
- Ability to understand all functions through training.
- Ability to follow safety procedures.
- Ability to comprehend basic math.
- Able to work overtime and holidays on an as-needed basis.
- Able to work in a sense of urgency and/or fast-paced environment.
- Able to utilize and work safely with corrugate.
