About the Role

The Boeing Company seeks a Supply Chain Management Analyst (Mid or Senior Level) to support 787 Emergent Operations within the Fabrication Division. You will apply Materials Management and Supply Chain methodologies to incorporate changes and planning decisions, ensuring coordination across the global supply chain.

What You'll Do

  • Apply Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain
  • Analyze complex material requirements and verify and incorporate Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan
  • Determine part number attributes
  • Initiate, coordinate, and authorize release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability
  • Ensure on-time delivery and document and resolve order delinquencies
  • Report schedule adherence issues
  • Develop and control inventory plans, optimizing inventory levels
  • Analyze and disposition excess inventories
  • Initiate audits
  • Develop and create schedules for products and services
  • Assist in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals
  • Implement and maintain process improvements
  • Analyze and establish best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance
  • Work under general direction

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain or materials management
  • 3+ years of experience with an industry ERP system
  • 3+ years of experience with Lean+ and/or Lean 5S
  • 3+ years of experience in a role requiring the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • 3+ years of experience coordinating across multiple functions to set priorities, expedite, and complete production activities

Nice to Have

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • 5+ years of data analysis experience using MS Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
  • 5+ years of scheduling experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment

  • Compensation: Mid-Level (Level 3) - $81,000 - $99,000; Senior Level (Level 4) - $97,200 - $118,800
