About the Role
This role involves managing supply chain processes, analyzing data to support decision-making, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance procurement, logistics, and supplier management activities.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements to ensure on-time delivery
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost reduction
- Support procurement strategies by providing insights from market and spend analysis
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve material shortages
- Monitor inventory levels and support efforts to reduce excess stock
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators for supply chain functions
- Assist in the implementation of supply chain management systems and tools
- Participate in supplier negotiations and contract reviews
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Lead or support process improvement initiatives across the supply chain
- Coordinate with logistics providers to optimize transportation and delivery schedules
- Track and report on supply chain risks and mitigation plans
- Provide data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Manage supplier onboarding and qualification processes
- Support global sourcing initiatives and supplier diversification efforts
- Conduct root cause analysis for supply disruptions
- Work with quality teams to resolve supplier-related non-conformances
- Maintain accurate documentation of supply chain activities and decisions
- Utilize ERP systems to monitor and manage procurement and inventory data
- Support audits and compliance reviews related to supply chain operations
- Develop supply chain contingency plans for critical components
- Engage in cross-functional project teams to improve end-to-end processes
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging supply chain technologies
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Ensure alignment with corporate sustainability and ethical sourcing goals
