Lilly is looking for a Pharmaceutical Sales - Territory Manager specializing in GI Specialty. You will sell pharmaceutical products in a changing healthcare environment, focusing on analyzing and growing territory business using business insights and a deep understanding of the marketplace.
What You'll Do
- Act in a manner consistent with all internal policies, procedures, and the PhRMA code.
- Sell in a changing healthcare environment, utilizing critical thinking to understand payer, health systems, and business dynamics.
- Analyze, develop, and grow territory business with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Use business insights tools to make good decisions about resource and time investment.
- Utilize knowledge of the marketplace and reimbursement landscape to prioritize opportunities.
- Prioritize opportunities and tactics using SWOT analysis.
- Develop quarterly territory and customer action plans considering all available resources.
- Build a deep understanding of the disease state, our products, the marketplace, and key competitors.
- Engage with healthcare professionals using patient-focused clinical dialogue.
- Partner with healthcare professionals as a product expert to tailor patient therapy solutions.
- Work within your territory and collaborate with team members and alliance partners for success.
- Achieve sales growth in your territory and deliver strong sales results.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Professional certification or license if required by a specific state.
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Nice to Have
- 2 or more years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical) post-undergraduate degree.
- 1-3 or more years of work experience post-undergraduate degree, OR a Graduate degree (Masters, MBA, PharmD).
- Experience with dermatology, rheumatology, immunology, and/or biologics or in-office infusions.
- Strong background navigating complex accounts within integrated health systems.
- Extensive experience or thorough understanding of the specialty pharmacy distribution model.
- Bilingual skills aligned with territory and customer needs.
- Living within the territory or within 30 miles of its boundaries.
- Demonstrated business insight.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $87,000 - $159,500
- Eligibility for a company bonus based on company and individual performance.
