Role Overview
As a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative in Côte d’Ivoire, you will play a key role in advancing healthcare by connecting healthcare professionals (HCPs) with trusted consumer healthcare solutions. Operating within a defined territory, you will combine field-based outreach with digital engagement to promote evidence-based products and support improved patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver scientifically accurate and impactful detailing sessions to HCPs, emphasizing clinical data and therapeutic benefits.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with HCPs to foster trust and long-term collaboration.
- Support digital transformation by enrolling HCPs in online platforms and guiding them in using digital tools and resources.
- Engage HCPs through a mix of in-person visits, remote calls, email outreach, and virtual webinars.
- Encourage participation in Continuous Medical Education (CME) programs to support professional development and clinical knowledge.
- Provide training on patient communication aids and digital health tools to enhance treatment adherence.
- Ensure all field activities meet quality benchmarks and compliance requirements, including proper distribution of medical samples.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as AWR, BRMO, and Share of Requirements.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales and market penetration targets within your territory.
- Collect and share market intelligence, including competitor activity and HCP feedback, with internal teams.
- Assist in organizing scientific meetings, educational events, and promotional initiatives.
- Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines, regulatory standards, and company policies in all field activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) or equivalent in a relevant scientific field.
- 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related healthcare commercial role.
- Fluency in both English and French, with strong verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in using CRM systems such as Veeva and other digital engagement tools.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret sales data and performance metrics.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical compliance and ethical standards.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Must be based in Côte d’Ivoire and legally authorized to work in the country.
