Responsibilities
- Process security clearance applications for military and civilian personnel
- Verify accuracy and completeness of investigative documentation
- Maintain personnel security records in compliance with federal regulations
- Support security onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Coordinate with federal agencies to resolve clearance discrepancies
- Track clearance statuses using security information systems
- Conduct initial and recurring security briefings
- Ensure compliance with Department of Defense security policies
- Manage continuous evaluation monitoring requirements
- Review SF86 and eQIP forms for completeness
- Facilitate reinvestigations and interim clearances
- Respond to requests for personnel security information
- Maintain security clearance databases
- Identify and report security compliance issues
- Support security audits and inspections
- Prepare reports on clearance processing timelines
- Ensure proper handling of classified information
- Assist in updating security Standard Operating Procedures
- Monitor personnel for adherence to security protocols
- Liaise with security managers and HR representatives
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel data
- Support emergency security actions when required
- Verify eligibility for access to sensitive facilities
- Process non-disclosure agreements and access forms
- Ensure timely submission of investigation requests
