About the Role
This role involves protecting property and personnel through vigilant observation, access control, and incident reporting. Officers patrol assigned areas and follow established procedures to maintain a secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance equipment to detect unusual activity
- Patrol designated areas on foot or by vehicle
- Report safety hazards and security concerns promptly
- Document incidents using written or digital reports
- Enforce facility rules and access policies
- Respond to emergencies according to protocol
- Assist visitors with directions and information
- Control entry and exit points during operations
- Maintain awareness of all ongoing site activities
- Support emergency preparedness and drills
- Perform routine equipment checks
- Communicate with supervisors and team members
- Follow safety and compliance guidelines
- Escalate critical situations appropriately
- Preserve scene integrity until authorities arrive
- Assist in lost and found procedures
- Conduct perimeter inspections
- Ensure proper signage is visible and functional
- Monitor parking and traffic flow
- Uphold professional appearance and conduct
Nice to Have
- Bilingual communication abilities
- Experience in corporate or commercial environments
- Training in CPR or first aid
- Certification in emergency response
- Familiarity with access control systems
- Prior work in high-traffic facilities
- Knowledge of fire safety equipment
Compensation
Hourly wage based on experience and location
Work Arrangement
Full-time, part-time, and weekend shifts available
