About the Role
This position is responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities within the architecture, engineering, and construction sectors. The ideal candidate will combine sales expertise with industry knowledge to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the AEC market
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client workflows and challenges
- Present software solutions tailored to prospect needs
- Negotiate contracts and close deals independently
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM
- Collaborate with marketing to refine outreach strategies
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Gather customer feedback to inform product development
- Build relationships with decision-makers at engineering and construction firms
- Respond to inbound leads in a timely manner
- Coordinate technical demonstrations with customer success teams
- Track sales performance using key metrics and reports
- Stay current on industry trends in construction technology
- Participate in industry events and trade shows
- Support onboarding of newly acquired clients
Nice to Have
- Prior success selling drone or geospatial technology
- Existing network in the AEC industry
- Experience with construction project management software
- Knowledge of UAV regulations in the U.S.
- Sales training or certification
