Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional capabilities to identify individual needs and objectives.
- Create personalized therapy plans and measurable goals based on assessment outcomes.
- Deliver remote occupational therapy through guided exercises, therapeutic activities, and targeted interventions.
- Instruct patients and caregivers in methods that promote independence and overall well-being.
- Keep detailed, current records including progress updates, treatment strategies, and required documentation.
- Follow ethical, legal, and regulatory standards, particularly those related to patient privacy such as HIPAA.
- Use telehealth technology efficiently to conduct virtual therapy sessions.
- Remain informed about advancements in occupational therapy through continuous professional learning.
