About the Role

HERA Organics is hiring a Permit Specialist to help our clients eliminate the hassle and risk of sales tax. In this fully remote role, you will be a key collaborator, managing the permit process by working directly with clients, internal teams, and state agencies.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the new permit process and existing permit verification, including reviewing client information, applying for sales tax permits, and creating account access.
  • Prepare and submit Power of Attorney forms to authorize communication with state agencies on behalf of clients.
  • Work with internal teams to close sales tax permits for clients who no longer need them after a nexus review.
  • Communicate and provide ongoing support to new and existing clients throughout the permit process.
  • Communicate all helpful permit or account verification information to the assigned Sales Tax Accountant for ongoing filing.
  • Complete the permit/verification process within 39 days for 90% of clients.
  • Submit all sales tax permit applications within less than 48 hours of notification from the Onboarding Team.
  • Handle at least 80 permits/verifications per month along with other duties.
  • Complete 3 hours per quarter in work-related education or training.
  • Achieve at least an 80% completion rate for quarterly goals.

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent English proficiency (written and verbal).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business courses.
  • Comfortable initiating phone calls, pressing for necessary information, and following up persistently.
  • Capable of troubleshooting issues and finding solutions as they arise.
  • Comfortable using different software to track projects and client information.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and track deadlines efficiently.
  • Positive references from past supervisors.
  • High attention-to-detail and a perfectionist at heart.
  • Self-starter who shows initiative to get work done without constant supervision.
  • Excellent at time management.
  • Eager to learn new skills and technologies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with project management, contract application, or legal research.
  • Accounting or finance background.

Team & Environment

You'll join a team of 60-ish teammates in a highly collaborative role involving work with clients, internal teammates, and state agencies.

  • Monthly flat salary of 66,496 PHP.

Work Mode

This is a 100% remote position for candidates based in the Philippines, specifically in the Luzon region, Cebu City, Davao City, or Iloilo City.
