Mass General Brigham is seeking a Perianesthesia Assistant Nurse Director for Brigham and Women’s Hospital. In this role, you will direct, plan, and coordinate the service activities and staffing performance of professional and auxiliary nursing personnel to render quality patient care in the Perianesthesia unit. You may also provide direct patient care.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the development, implementation, and evaluation of staff onboarding, training, and education.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback for staff.
- Ensure a positive work environment that is safe for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Coordinate unit activities with other hospital departments.
- Develop and implement staffing plans.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse (RN) State License.
- 2-3 years of nursing experience.
Nice to Have
- Master's Degree in Nursing.
- 1-2 years of nursing leadership experience.
- Current PACU experience.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
