About the Role
This position involves delivering clinical research services directly in patients’ homes, ensuring protocol compliance, patient safety, and accurate data reporting within decentralized trials.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing duties during home visits for clinical trial participants
- Conduct physical assessments and monitor patient health status
- Administer study-related treatments as outlined in protocols
- Collect biological samples following standard procedures
- Ensure adherence to study protocols during each patient interaction
- Document patient data accurately and in a timely manner
- Educate participants about trial requirements and procedures
- Monitor and report adverse events promptly
- Maintain patient confidentiality throughout the research process
- Coordinate visits with patients based on availability and needs
- Use electronic systems for real-time data entry and reporting
- Communicate findings to supervising clinical staff
- Follow safety guidelines during travel and patient interactions
- Verify patient eligibility for study activities
- Support informed consent processes with clear explanations
- Track medication dispensing and patient compliance
- Assist in the development of patient care plans
- Respond to patient inquiries about trial participation
- Ensure proper storage and handling of study supplies
- Participate in virtual team meetings and trainings
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical protocols
- Report protocol deviations immediately
- Uphold ethical standards in human subject research
- Contribute to audit readiness through accurate documentation
- Follow regulatory requirements for nursing practice in research
