About the Role
This role partners with teams to support employee lifecycle processes, provide guidance on performance and development, and help maintain a fair and inclusive work environment. The position works closely with leadership and HR functions to implement people strategies.
Responsibilities
- Advise managers on employee relations matters and provide coaching for team leadership
- Support performance management cycles including goal setting, reviews, and development planning
- Partner with teams to identify development opportunities and career growth paths
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to maintain consistent people practices across teams
- Help interpret and apply company policies in a fair and equitable manner
- Track and analyze people metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across departments
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies
- Partner with talent acquisition during hiring to align on team needs
- Assist in designing and rolling out people programs and organizational changes
- Provide guidance during organizational restructuring or team transitions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment regulations and best practices
- Ensure compliance with internal HR processes and external legal requirements
- Support investigations into employee concerns with confidentiality and care
- Promote a culture of feedback and continuous improvement
- Work with managers to address performance challenges constructively
- Help align team goals with broader organizational objectives
- Contribute to internal communications related to people topics
- Foster trust by maintaining discretion and professionalism
- Support engagement initiatives and employee listening efforts
- Monitor team health through surveys and regular check-ins
- Encourage consistent application of recognition and reward practices
- Partner with learning and development to deliver training programs
- Ensure HR data accuracy in people systems and reporting tools
