This role is central to managing the full employee journey, from onboarding through offboarding and beyond. The specialist ensures each team member is welcomed, supported, and equipped to thrive, while maintaining the integrity and efficiency of People Operations systems and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, coordinating logistics, documentation, training, and communications to ensure seamless transitions.
- Respond to employee inquiries through a ticketing system, providing timely and accurate support on policies, procedures, and HR tools.
- Maintain up-to-date and secure employee records in BambooHR and related platforms, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Deliver guidance and coaching to team members on HR processes, helping them navigate systems and understand their roles within them.
- Proactively communicate with stakeholders to gather information, clarify needs, and support smooth execution of HR activities.
- Support benefits administration, compliance initiatives, and other HR functions as needed, adapting to shifting priorities.
- Participate in testing and rolling out new HR technologies, ensuring systems meet organizational needs.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and collaborating on solutions that enhance clarity and consistency.
- Administer training programs, track progress, and support professional development through structured learning journeys and coaching resources.
- Conduct onboarding check-ins, Stay Interviews, and Exit Interviews to gather insights and strengthen retention and engagement.
- Support organizational growth by refining workflows to scale effectively without compromising quality or responsiveness.
- Keep current with HR trends, regulatory updates, and best practices to ensure policies remain relevant and compliant.
- Process personnel changes such as promotions, transfers, and manager updates with precision and timeliness.
- Assist in developing and maintaining training materials and operational documentation to support team-wide understanding.
- Collaborate on performance assessments and contribute to team meetings, sharing updates and aligning on priorities.
- Reconcile recognition data with Finance to support accurate reporting and reward processing.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating a strong foundation in HR operations and people-centered practices.
