Rillet is hiring a People Operations Lead as a critical founding hire. You will establish and scale the people function from the ground up, designing the systems, culture, and infrastructure that will power our growth and shape every aspect of the employee experience.
What You'll Do
- Build foundational HR infrastructure including policies, performance systems, and compliance frameworks from the ground up.
- Own the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through performance management and career development.
- Partner with leadership to develop compensation philosophy, job leveling, and equity frameworks that scale with growth.
- Drive culture and engagement initiatives while maintaining compliance with employment laws and HR best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
- At least 2 years in a senior HR business partner or people operations role.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices across multiple states/jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and prioritize initiatives that drive maximum impact for scaling organizations.
- Experience with HR technology stack including HRIS, ATS, performance management, and benefits administration platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence and advise leadership while maintaining confidentiality and building trust across all levels.
- Proven track record building HR functions at early-stage companies with experience scaling teams from 20-100+ employees preferred.
Nice to Have
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
