ICF Incorporated, LLC is hiring a Payroll Tax Compliance Lead to oversee and ensure accurate payroll tax filings across domestic and international entities. You will serve as the subject matter expert for internal stakeholders at a company that combines deep expertise with technology to solve complex client challenges.
What You'll Do
- Ensure timely and accurate filing and payment of all federal, state, local, and applicable international payroll taxes.
- Collaborate with external vendors like ADP and Workday to manage tax setup, compliance, and issue resolution.
- Partner with corporate tax and general ledger accounting teams on tax reporting and reconciliations.
- Maintain compliance with evolving payroll tax laws and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits, quarterly/year-end processes, and filings including W-2s.
- Manage payroll tax accounts, notices, and registrations for multiple legal entities.
- Provide guidance on the tax impacts of business decisions and policy changes.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll tax compliance and reporting.
- 1+ year of experience with ADP (SmartCompliance or Tax Services) and Workday Payroll.
- 1+ year of experience supporting multiple domestic and foreign legal entities.
- 1+ year of experience working with payroll tax laws and filings like 941, 940, and state/local returns.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Tax, GL Accounting, and HR teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines and jurisdictions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPP certification.

- Compensation Range: $67,020.00 - $113,934.00
