Deel is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our global team supporting clients in France. In this role, you will be responsible for performing standard accounting tasks related to payroll processes, including salary calculation, ensuring compliance and accuracy for our clients.
What You'll Do
- Maintain payroll records for new hires, leavers, transfers, and contractual changes.
- Ensure knowledge of client employment contracts, policies, taxation, mandatory insurances, and social security regulations to guarantee all payments are authorized, correct, and compliant.
- Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of monthly payroll files.
- Manage client enquiries via telephone and email.
- Build and nurture customer relationships to deliver high-quality service.
- Perform additional duties as required by the operations team.
- Maintain KPI performance on the allocation of clients.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in French payroll and personnel administration.
- Fluent French and a good level of English, both written and verbal.
- Experience processing payroll under local French payroll legislation.
- An organized and methodical approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
- Competent IT user of Excel, Word, and payroll systems.
- Ability to perform manual calculations if necessary.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SILAE Payroll software.
- University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Labor, or a related field.
