TUI Group is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join the payroll team in Hannover. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll for a defined group of employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and serving as a reliable contact for colleagues and authorities.
What You'll Do
- Process payroll for a defined group of employees, ensuring correct and timely execution.
- Collaborate closely with the HR department and all relevant interface areas.
- Act as a reliable contact person for colleagues, social security agencies, authorities, and internal/external partners.
- Create all payroll-relevant certificates, reports, and monthly evaluations.
- Provide competent advice to HR, managers, and employees on tax and social security law matters.
- Independently maintain and correct working hours and absences.
- Support tax and social security audits with a high sense of responsibility.
- Actively contribute to projects and drive process optimizations as a proactive initiator.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional experience in payroll processing with high responsibility and solid specialist knowledge.
- Very good knowledge of MS 365, especially MS Teams and Excel.
- Open, authentic, and service-oriented personality with a hands-on mentality.
- High degree of personal responsibility and reliability: identifying challenges early, finding proactive solutions, and involving colleagues.
- Motivation to familiarize yourself with new topics and contribute your own ideas.
- Pronounced organizational talent as well as an independent, structured, and team-oriented way of working.
Nice to Have
- Ideally experience with SAP HCM and SuccessFactors.
