Trojan Technologies, a company safeguarding the world’s most vital resources, is looking for a Payroll Partner to manage payroll operations for France and other EMEA countries. This remote position is part of the HR Services team, responsible for the full payroll cycle, ensuring compliance, and serving as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries.
What You'll Do
- Manage assigned caseload, responding to Tier 1 payroll inquiries and supporting transactional execution.
- Serve as the point of contact for payroll inquiries from regional EMEA Associate Groups, with a focus on France.
- Manage the full payroll cycle: collect, validate, and input payroll data to ensure timely and compliant salary payments.
- Coordinate with external payroll vendors for accurate calculations and timely submissions of social security, taxes, and statutory requirements.
- Interact with HR and finance teams, updating HRIS with hire, leaver, transfer, promotion, and organizational changes.
- Support internal and external audits, including SOX compliance, and ensure internal controls are in place.
- Handle correspondence with tax offices, health insurance companies, social security institutions, and other authorities.
- Process supplementary insurance and pension plans.
- Prepare regular reports and statistics, issue certificates, reconcile accounts, and assist with annual financial statements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience executing payroll.
- Deep knowledge of local labor, tax, and social security regulations in France.
- Experience working within multicultural, international teams, collaborating with Finance and HR business partners.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong collaboration skills in communication, tone, messaging, execution, planning, and ownership.
- Problem-solving and results-oriented mindset with excellent organizational abilities.
- Proficient in French and English language.
- Knowledge of HRIS, preferably Workday.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
