This position is responsible for managing payroll accuracy and delivering essential people operations services, ensuring compliance, data integrity, and a positive employee experience across regions.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on time each pay cycle
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies
- Maintain up-to-date employee records in HR systems
- Support onboarding and offboarding workflows
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations
- Respond to employee inquiries about pay, benefits, and HR policies
- Assist in audits by preparing required documentation
- Track leave balances and manage related approvals
- Generate HR reports for leadership and compliance purposes
- Coordinate with external vendors such as payroll providers and benefits administrators
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Support global teams across multiple time zones
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data
- Standardize HR operations procedures across regions
- Assist in the rollout of new HR systems or tools
- Monitor data quality and conduct regular audits
- Provide backup support for benefits administration
- Track key performance metrics for people operations
- Ensure timely submission of statutory filings
- Support organizational changes such as restructurings or expansions
- Facilitate employee data transfers during system migrations
- Maintain knowledge of evolving employment regulations
- Assist in preparing compensation reports
- Promote a culture of compliance and service excellence
- Escalate complex issues to senior HR staff when needed
