UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is looking for a Patient Services Representative to support patient check-in at our hospitals and outpatient clinics. In this role, your focus will be on creating a positive patient experience through dedicated customer service.
What You'll Do
- Guide patients through the check-in process
- Collect copayments and any other applicable patient payments
- Confirm and/or update patient registration information
- Schedule or connect patients to resources to schedule for ancillary services at checkout
- Assist patients in education of financial responsibility and connect them to advocacy resources as needed
- Confirm/verify insurance benefits with the appropriate carrier
What We're Looking For
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located in Allegheny County and Cranberry.
