About the Role
The coordinator will manage patient communications, streamline visit logistics, and act as a liaison between patients and care providers to ensure a positive healthcare experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for patient inquiries and scheduling needs
- Guide patients through check-in and registration procedures
- Assist with appointment coordination and follow-up reminders
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Address patient concerns promptly and professionally
- Support multilingual communication, particularly in English and Mandarin
- Ensure all patient interactions meet service standards
- Collaborate with clinical staff to prepare for patient visits
- Monitor patient flow to reduce wait times and improve efficiency
- Collect feedback to identify areas for service improvement
- Educate patients about available services and resources
- Uphold patient confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
- Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts or service delays
- Track patient satisfaction metrics and report findings
- Participate in training on customer service and cultural competence
- Support outreach initiatives to engage diverse patient populations
- Coordinate interpreter services when needed
- Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk environment
- Respond to phone and email inquiries in a timely manner
- Escalate complex issues to supervisors appropriately
- Assist with onboarding new patients into the system
- Ensure signage and informational materials are up to date
- Promote a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for all visitors
- Adapt communication style to meet individual patient needs
- Contribute to continuous improvement of patient-facing processes
