CVS Health is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to join the Enteral Nutrition Center team. In this remote role, you will directly support patient care by processing new orders, updating medical records, and handling patient communications. You'll be essential in ensuring accurate and timely service for patients requiring enteral nutrition.
What You'll Do
- Answer incoming calls from patients, caregivers, branches, and referral sources regarding nutrition therapy order status.
- Process monthly patient refill requests and ensure documentation is accurate before shipping orders.
- Process prescription changes.
- Triage calls to various departments.
- Verify patient demographics and insurance information to ensure accurate shipment.
- Process new patient orders and update electronic medical records.
- Work with the patient admissions department to help bring patients onto services.
- Initiate the referral process and answer questions from patients and caregivers on their admissions status.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum one year experience working in a customer service environment.
- Experience with data entry.
- Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- High School diploma or GED.
Nice to Have
- Home infusion or durable medical equipment (DME) experience.
- Call center experience.
- Experience working in a healthcare environment.
