Mass General Brigham is hiring a Patient Care Assistant II to provide essential support to patients under the direction of licensed personnel. You will assist patients with activities of daily living and perform basic patient care tasks as part of our commitment to exceptional care and groundbreaking medical discoveries.
What You'll Do
- Perform vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy.
- Complete all required documentation in the medical record.
- Interact effectively with patients and their families.
- Assist patients with basic hygiene tasks including bathing, dressing, using the toilet, and feeding.
- Assist patients with turning, repositioning, and moving between bed and wheelchair.
- Listen to patient health concerns and report them to nurses.
What We're Looking For
- Healthcare experience of 1-2 years
- Ability to multitask and handle stress crisis situations effectively
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Typing skills and computer experience
- Good interpersonal, organizational, and oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift and transport patients using appropriate physical technique safely
Nice to Have
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) - New Hampshire
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $18.22 - $26.06/Hourly
- A $750.00 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible new hires.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at 75 Francis Street.
