McLaren Health Care was looking for a Patient Access Representative

McLaren Health Care Village seeks a detailed and organized Patient Access Representative. Under general direction, you will be responsible for completing tasks within Revenue Cycle Management, such as registration, financial clearance, and insurance verification, ensuring quality and productivity standards.

What You'll Do

  • Complete assigned tasks in areas like patient registration, financial clearance, insurance verification, and cashier functions.
  • Perform all assignment duties within established quality and productivity standards.

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 6 months of work experience in Patient Access, Medical Billing, or Customer Service.
  • Proven skills in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Word), Windows-based applications, and 10-key calculators.

Nice to Have

  • An Associate Degree in Health Care, Finance, or a related area (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted).
  • Certification in medical billing, coding, or an equivalent job-specific certification.
  • Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes.
  • One year of experience in Revenue Cycle operations.

Work Mode

This is an onsite position located in Michigan, Okemos.
