About the Role

Lakeshore Learning Materials is hiring a Partner Inside Sales Representative to join our team. In this remote role, you will focus on consultative sales within the education sector, building strong customer relationships and achieving sales goals through virtual appointments and strategic outreach.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with Outside Sales team members to drive site-based customer outreach and key market penetration.
  • Secure new and repeat business by building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders via virtual appointments and outbound phone calls.
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity requirements and sales quotas.
  • Partner with schools and childcare centers on a regular basis to assess emerging and ongoing needs.
  • Host virtual product presentations to familiarize customers with proprietary services such as Complete Classrooms®, professional development, and custom solutions.
  • Conduct online research to gather information on local, state, and national trends and funding opportunities in early learning and elementary education.
  • Work with department leadership to form and modify sales strategies.
  • Partner with outside sales, retail, and professional services groups to support the needs of educators.
  • Identify sales leads and collaborate with various members of the sales force to support the market.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss department initiatives and strategies.
  • Assist team on special projects such as partnering with the outside sales force and participating in national and/or state campaigns.
