Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking a Part Time Veterinarian to provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets in the Greater Toronto Area. Our mission is to support pets and their families during one of life's most challenging moments by helping pets pass peacefully at home. You will focus on compassionate care and building deep connections with families on a flexible schedule.
What You'll Do
- Provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets.
- Guide families in making compassionate end-of-life decisions for their pets.
- Build and maintain relationships with local veterinary clinics, serving as an extension of their care.
What We're Looking For
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree.
- 1+ year(s) of experience as a practicing veterinarian.
- Valid driver's license and comfort with prolonged periods of driving.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs assisted.
- Capable of consistent walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, crawling, stooping, standing, and reaching.
- Demonstrated manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and the ability to maintain steady hands while using medical tools.

Work Mode
