M&T Bank is looking for a Part Time Teller (25 hours) to join our team in Bohemia, New York. This role specializes in delivering an excellent branch customer experience through digital engagement, lobby management, and accurate transactional processing.
What You'll Do
- Adhere to customer service standards and provide a differentiated experience by understanding and delivering solutions for customer needs.
- Educate customers through digital demonstrations and identify self-service opportunities.
- Actively engage in lobby management, greeting customers and proactively addressing their immediate needs.
- Accurately balance and process customer transactions following Bank Policy.
- Take ownership of escalated account services issues until resolution; log all customer complaints.
- Transition identified sales opportunities to appropriate banking partners.
- Complete branch-related operational activities (e.g., cash ordering, vault, ATM, wire transfers).
- Process customer/account maintenance accurately.
- Complete Consumer AML/BSA/KYC related activities.
- Adhere to compliance/operational risk controls per Company or regulatory standards.
- Promote an environment supporting belonging and reflecting the M&T Bank brand.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of audit points.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 6 months customer service experience
- Data entry and/or cash handling experience
