About the Role
This position is responsible for supporting the logistics of IT assets, including receiving, shipping, inventory tracking, and maintaining accurate records throughout the equipment lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming IT hardware and verify contents against purchase orders
- Prepare and dispatch equipment for internal transfers and employee assignments
- Maintain detailed logs of asset movements and ownership changes
- Inspect devices for damage upon arrival and report discrepancies
- Organize storage areas to ensure safe and efficient access to equipment
- Update asset management databases with current status and location
- Assist with decommissioning and disposal of outdated hardware
- Coordinate with vendors for repairs and warranty processing
- Track serial numbers and warranty information for all managed devices
- Support audit procedures by providing accurate asset records
- Ensure compliance with company policies for equipment handling
- Package technology equipment securely for shipment
- Monitor inventory levels and report supply shortages
- Assist in setting up workstations with necessary hardware
- Communicate with internal teams about delivery timelines
- Escalate logistical issues that impact deployment schedules
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and equipment data
- Follow standardized workflows for consistent processing
- Use barcode scanners and inventory systems to update records
- Assist with special projects related to asset management improvements
- Adhere to environmental guidelines for electronic waste disposal
- Verify return of equipment from departing employees
- Label all assets with standardized identification tags
- Support onboarding and offboarding logistics for devices
- Respond to requests for equipment relocation within offices

Physical Requirements
