About the Role

The technician will diagnose system issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure HVAC equipment operates efficiently and safely in compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify performance issues
  • Install new heating and cooling units according to manufacturer specifications
  • Repair malfunctioning components such as compressors, thermostats, and motors
  • Perform routine maintenance on existing systems to ensure optimal function
  • Use diagnostic tools to assess refrigerant levels and electrical systems
  • Follow safety protocols when handling high-voltage equipment and refrigerants
  • Document service activities and provide reports after each job
  • Respond promptly to emergency service calls
  • Communicate technical details clearly to customers
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations
  • Replace outdated equipment with energy-efficient models
  • Collaborate with team members on complex installations
  • Maintain inventory of tools and replacement parts
  • Adhere to scheduled service appointments
  • Provide recommendations for system improvements
