About the Role
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that support data processing and analytics for measurement solutions. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-performing systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services using Java and related frameworks
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements
- Develop APIs for internal and external consumption
- Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to code quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
- Work with cloud infrastructure to deploy and monitor applications
- Integrate with data pipelines and analytics platforms
- Ensure code follows security and compliance standards
- Write unit and integration tests to maintain software quality
- Support continuous integration and delivery processes
- Document technical designs and system behavior
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Contribute to architectural decisions and system improvements
- Assist in defining engineering best practices
