About the Role
This position involves delivering clinical therapy services to individuals, couples, and families via telehealth, with an emphasis on diagnosing and treating mental and emotional disorders within relational contexts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families
- Assess and diagnose mental health conditions using clinical interviews
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary
- Engage in ongoing clinical supervision
- Adhere to ethical and licensing board standards
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Coordinate care with external providers when appropriate
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
- Respond to client communications within established timeframes
- Utilize electronic health record systems efficiently
- Complete documentation promptly after sessions
- Support client engagement and retention in treatment
- Promote mental health education during sessions
- Follow state and federal privacy regulations
- Engage in professional development activities
- Uphold cultural sensitivity in all client interactions
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Nice to Have
- Experience working with adolescents and young adults
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care models
- Training in cognitive behavioral therapy
- Experience in integrated care settings
- Bilingual communication skills
- Prior teletherapy experience
- Knowledge of community resources in Western Massachusetts
- Supervisory experience
- Additional certifications in mental health specialties
- Published work or presentations in clinical field
