Pennsylvania State University is hiring a Part-Time Clark Scholar Tutor to provide academic support in STEM subjects. This role is central to the Clark Scholars Program, offering flexible tutoring sessions designed to foster student success. You will work approximately 5-10 hours per week, which may include evenings and weekends.
What You'll Do
- Uphold University and Clark Scholars Program policies and procedures.
- Conduct individual and small group tutoring sessions.
- Complete required tutor reports.
- Attend mandatory training sessions.
What We're Looking For
- Current Penn State student (sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate level).
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
- Earned a grade of B+ or higher in requested subjects (e.g., Chemistry 110, Biology 110, Math 140, Physics 211, and other STEM classes).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
