Recover Medical Group is looking for a part-time Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor to provide direct patient care for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. You'll join a mission-driven team focused on making addiction treatment and mental healthcare more effective, accessible, and affordable, with a particular focus on marginalized and underserved communities.
What You'll Do
- Provide counseling to patients in one-on-one, group, and family settings.
- Develop relationships with patients and guide them through their recovery journey.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
What We're Looking For
- A CAADC / LAADC certification valid in California from a state-recognized organization, or be an AMF / ASW / APCC in need of supervised practice hours.
- 2+ years of experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment.
Nice to Have
- Availability for evening hours.
- Experience treating addiction.
- Lived experience with substance use.
- Fluent in Spanish.
Team & Environment
You'll be part of a small team growing quickly, collaborating with a treatment team including a medical director, physicians, nurse practitioners, and case managers. You will report to the Clinical Supervisor.
