Modern Family Law is seeking a Paralegal to join our team, working remotely to support our San Antonio, Texas office. In this role, you will handle a diverse portfolio of family law cases, balancing legal expertise with client advocacy in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and property division.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple competing responsibilities.
- Prepare legal documents and filings with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- E-file with county court systems.
- Handle multiple cases simultaneously.
- Interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and court staff.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and outstanding communication skills in both written and verbal interactions.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff, ensuring collective success and efficiency in case management.
What We're Looking For
- Must reside in Texas to attend hearings and meet with clients.
- Ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and court staff.
- Skilled in e-filing with county court systems.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in preparing legal documents and filings.
- Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork.
- Proactive problem-solver, with the ability to stay composed and organized under tight deadlines.
- Experience working with multiple attorneys in a law firm setting.
- Strong organizational skills.
Nice to Have
- Minimum of 1-6 years of experience in family law.
